Laurie Bolle, Vice President of National Classifieds/Sales at Gannett, is joining Column!
Laurie brings a wealth of knowledge from her more than twenty years of experience at Gannett. She will play a crucial role in heading up Column’s efforts to scale its public notice solution with the world's largest media enterprises while maintaining the highest standard of customer and user experience for our publishing partners.
Laurie started on the classified side of the business at the Herald Times-Reporter in 2001. She soon emerged as a leader within the industry at the local, regional, and national levels. Laurie has built and scaled Gannett's centralized classified operation from the ground up. Today, she oversees an operational sales channel structure of 330 employees responsible for emerging products and platforms across obituaries, legals/public notice, and classified categories including Real Estate, Auction, Small Business/Service. Laurie has built an extensive network across the publishing industry and is regarded as a thought leader in public notice.
“I am so excited to join Column at a pivotal time for the company’s growth and for the future of public notice. The Column team is on a mission to improve the way public information, like public notices, is exchanged and used within our communities,” Laurie commented. “My time with Gannett has been filled with rewarding challenges and growth both personally and professionally. I will always be grateful and appreciative to the leadership team and the talented co-workers I’ve worked with over the years. Both Column and Gannett have been supportive of this exciting new chapter ahead.”
Since Column’s launch in 2020, our enterprise public notice platform has been adopted by publishers of all shapes and sizes including groups like Adams Publishing Group, Ogden Newspapers, Wick Communications, CherryRoad Media, and The Washington Post. Our platform equips publishers with a set of market-leading and first-of-their-kind tools for public notice management. In the coming year, Column will look to expand on its suite of solutions and meaningful scale our network of publishing partners.
“Column is the fastest-growing company focused on public notice and we are building a team of all-stars to fuel our next chapter of growth. No one has more experience with managing technological and process change for ideal users of our platform than Laurie Bolle,” said Jake Seaton, Founder & CEO of Column. “Laurie is a force of nature and I can’t wait to see what she builds here.”
Laurie Bolle will start at Column on January 17th.
